Privacy Policy
Effective October 26, 2026
This policy explains what Parcel B Time, a Mac application made by Parcel B Development Company (“Parcel B,” “we”), does with information. Parcel B Time is an internal tool used for Parcel B’s own consulting business.
What the app reads
Parcel B Time only reads services you choose to connect:
- Intuit QuickBooks Online: company name, customer names and email addresses, service items and their prices, and employee names. It also reads time entries it created, to keep them up to date.
- Optional capture sources, if you turn them on:
- Microsoft 365 calendar events and Teams meeting attendance
- Zoom meeting and participant reports
- Plaud recording titles, times and summaries
- the call history and contacts on your Mac
What the app writes
Parcel B Time creates, updates and, with your confirmation, deletes time entries in QuickBooks that you have approved. It never changes customers, items or prices, and it never sends invoices.
Where information is kept
- On your Mac: time records, client settings and a log of every change sent to QuickBooks, in the app’s folder in your user Library.
- In the macOS Keychain: sign-in keys and tokens.
- Nowhere else. The app has no Parcel B server or cloud account behind it, and it has no analytics or tracking.
Signing in to QuickBooks
When you connect, Intuit sends your browser back through a small page on parcelb.dev. That page forwards the one-time sign-in code to the app on your own Mac. The page doesn’t run any code on the server, stores nothing and has no analytics. The code works only once and is useless without the app’s secret key, which stays in your Keychain. The host serving the page may keep standard web server logs.
Sharing
Parcel B does not sell, rent or share your information. Information leaves your Mac only when the app sends approved time entries to your own QuickBooks company, or makes the read requests described above to services you connected.
How long it’s kept, and your choices
- Information stays on your Mac until you delete it in the app or remove the app.
- Disconnecting QuickBooks, in the app or from QuickBooks, revokes the app’s access and removes its tokens.
- Information already in QuickBooks follows Intuit’s own privacy statement.
Security
Connections to QuickBooks and other services use HTTPS. Secrets are stored in the macOS Keychain, not in files. Keeping your Mac’s login password and FileVault turned on protects the rest.
Children
Parcel B Time is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
